Shattered the Dragon – Week 7
This week brought me Shattered, the dragon! My 2016 polymer clay challenge is to create (at least) one polymer clay fantasy creature (in this week’s case a polymer clay dragon) a week, one old man sculpture a month, and one marionette a month. Each participant in the 2016 Polymer Clay Challenge is encouraged to make something they want and decide on their own theme for the year.
Shatter is a new kind of dragon. Shatter is from the ancient glass dungeons of the Magical Forest. Shatter is a master artisan, in fact he’s a glass maker. You can tell by his shortened nose (so it doesn’t melt in the fires) and the glass that seems to grow right out of him. You must be careful around Shatter however. Like the glass dungeons he works in, Shatter worries his heart might break if he doesn’t find a new home soon.
