What’s your favorite item, tool, or product to use in your studio?

My hands!
I also really like my etch and pearls for putting holes in beads.

I’m a bit of a newbie, so my clay is probably still my favorite as I build up fun tools to play with!

My favourite tools are the little ‘punches’ or ‘stamps’ I made by cutting short lengths off of varoius sizes of hollow tubes, I then ‘squished’ the tubes at one end to make them oval instead or round – and used them to decorate the shells of some turtle pendants I was making, but I use these little tubes for lots of things, not just turtles.

I love playing with my polymer clay, currently I’m trying to design a SteamPunk or ClockWork pendant, as I’ve just made a mould using lots of different cogs and gears and I have a nice pendant shaped piece of clay waiting to have something done to it. Any books on the subject of making things in Polymer clay are always fascinating to read.
