The Making of My Puppy’s Pill Box

Puppy Pill Box – For The Traveling Dog

KatersAcres dog, Daisy.Sometimes (okay, at least twice a month) my husband and I find ourselves away from home. We always have our own meds and a way to travel with them, but since my beloved pooch has developed arthritic hips, she is now on medication too. But not just any medication, but meds that need to be cut in half for her.  Carrying around this big thing of pills for the pooch was not my idea of fun. So last week, as we traveled to see my Mom, I thought “Why not make a pill box for my dog?” This way her pills were already broken, ready to give to her, and in a quick and easy ready to go container.  So, though my WIP my be small for this week, it’s filled with some giant love, for my dog, Daisy. It’s not quite done, I need to finish the edges, add a few more embellishments & add a good, strong coat of varnish. Then it will be done! All in all, not bad for only have 3 hours in my studio this past week. See what happens when you’re gone for 5 days?
