Keurig Coffee Pot
How I Love Thee
There are few things in life that can make me as happy as a nice, hot, steamy, wonderful cup of coffee. Hi, I’m Katie, and I’m a coffee addict…okay maybe addict is a strong word. But I drink fresh brewed, homemade, delicious coffee from my Keurig Coffee Pot at least 4-5 times a day at home. Add this to my husbands 1-3 cups and day and you can say that we go through a lot of coffee at my house. But there’s a huge reason that I am a Keurig Coffee Pot devotee…
The single biggest reason that I will always be addicted to a Keurig coffee pot is for one huge reason: their warrantee. I’m a warrantee kind of girl and warrantees that are built in to products will often sell me a product quicker than one without. This is the biggest reason why I am also a Apple girl…why? Because there isn’t anything in the world that can top Apple’s warrantee’s, in store service, and quick customer response. I digress…we’re not talking about Apple today are we….
Here’s the coffee pot that I own and love to pieces. The Keurig coffee pot Platinum Brewing System. Let me set the stage for my Monday: It was a busy day and it wasn’t going so well. I had beads to bake to turn into the craft store where I will be teaching this fall. I spent 5 hours making beautiful beads, only to have something go wrong in my clay oven. When I turned around, fumes & smoke were escaping from it. Almost in tears and worried that I had lost five hours of work, I ran to the clay oven, unplugged it, opened all the windows (polymer clay fumes are toxic), and wondered what I should do next….let the story begin.
I couldn’t open the oven as the fumes would be unbearable…so I went and sat down in front of my computer to chat with some of my friends on the PromoFrenzy Team really quickly. WHAT?! No WiFi? Yep…my internet was down. I was about to get even more upset with my Monday and then I had the answer….I went to my good old trusty coffee pot. It was time for a time-out with my favorite coffee mug and a cup of the hot steamy liquid.
I put the Kcup in the brewer, selected my coffee size, and nothing happened. “Hmmmm….that’s weird” I thought to myself. So I opened the brewer and tried again. By this time my heart was pounding. About 20 minutes later I was on the phone with a very nice gentleman named “AJ” who was going to help me. He walked me through all the “usual” default steps to fix my Keurig Coffee Pot. And you know what happened – NOTHING! It was unfixable! I was devastated! Now what was I going to do. “I see Mrs. Oskin that you have a warrantee on your Keurig Coffee Pot, we’re going to send you out a replacement right away.” Wait….did I hear this right – a NEW coffee pot ($189.99 coffee pot mind you) right away? “All I need is to confirm your address Mrs. Oskin.” Before I hung up the phone, with a smile on my face, I asked AJ a question. “AJ, since you have been so helpful and wonderful for me today, I don’t suppose you can fix my WiFi.” He laughed at me in a very kind way and said, “Miss, all I can tell you is to make sure it’s plugged in.” I thanked him kindly and told him I’d never buy another coffee pot in my life unless it was a Keurig Coffee Pot.
So this afternoon as I quietly sip on a delicious cup of Donut Shop coffee, I want to say, “thank you” Keurig for making a product that not only do I love, but that you back and warrantee ensuring that you keep your good and valued customers.
