Semi-Homemade Recipe: Tomato Soup
Do you LOVE that hot and steamy cup or bowl of tomato soup? Do you hate how long it takes to make homemade tomato soup from scratch? Are you tired of the same-old, same-old Cambell's variety? This is my custom created recipe! Use this recipe to take a simple can of tomato soup and make it taste different, elegant, and completely delicious!
Ingredients (Serving size = 2):
1 can - Cambell's Tomato Soup
2 Tbs - Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbs - Sweet Basil
1 Tbs - Parsley
3/4 can - Milk
1/4 can - Half & Half
2 Tbs - Whipping Cream
1 tsp - Cinnamon
Directions:
Place tomato soup in the bottom a small/medium soup pot. Add Balsamic Vinegar, Sweet Basil, & Parsley. Whisk together. Fill 3/4 of soup can with milk & the remaining portion of the can with half & half. Dump milk mixture in pot. Add in whipping cream. Whisk together. Add cinnamon & whisk again. Warm over low stove and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat & place soup in bowls. Sprinkle top of soup with fresh parsley sprigs for decoration.
