Pavelka Project February Winners

The 2015 Pavelka Project by Lisa Pavelka & KatersAcres

Lisa Pavelka (and me, Katie Oskin) are pleased to announce the February Pavelka Project winner! What a great first month for the Pavelka Project! Here’s what the first month looked like:

  • Number of February Projects turned in: 11

A lot of you sent me private emails saying you weren’t into “mixed media” or “home decor” pieces and were “opting out” of trying our February projects. Please remember that this project is to grow your skills. I encourage you that even if you aren’t “into” the themes and projects that Lisa & I have chosen, please please please stretch yourself and try them. You never know, you might find a new technique or project that you dearly love!

Pavelka Project – February “Clocks”

February Pavelka Project Clock Project EntriesThis month has only one winner. Please know that this wasn’t an easy decision this month, there were several projects that were “above & beyond” the scope of being “awesome.” Here’s a quick snapshot of all the clocks submitted. CLICK HERE to see all the clocks individually.

And now for the part you’ve been waiting for … the winner!

February Winner:

Polymer Clay Caned Clock by Wendy Jorre de St Jorre

And the winner is … Wendy Jorre de St Jorre! In 2014 Wendy challenge herself to assemble and reduce 1 millefiori cane a week … and not just any cane but all of her canes were centered on trees. And it’s that’s not inspiring, she designed each cane pattern herself, from her own imagination.

February Pavelka Project Winning GiftsWendy will be receiving the gift at left: a Lisa Pavelka day pack, Lisa Pavelka supply pack, a matchbox style box from Lisa’s private collection showcased  in 2002 for the Carol Duvall Show, Parker, & Lolly. Wendy, please send your mailing address so you can receive your prize!
