  • Polymer Clay Fantasy Wings Tutorial Using Christi Friesen Stamps Part 1 by KatersAcresPick your colors for your wings.
    • If you don’t have a color palette ready, try this technique for a perfectly matched color palette every time.
  • Use the sutton slice technique and fill each area of your stamp with different colors.
  • Once each area is filled with your colors of choice, take your main color (rolled on the 4th largest setting of your pasta machine) and press firmly on the top of the stamp and the colors you’ve already placed.
  • Turn the stamp over so your base color is now down onto your work surface and press lightly so your base color grips onto your work surface.
  • Now PEEL your stamp off the base clay.
  • Polymer Clay Fantasy Wings Tutorial Using Christi Friesen Stamps Part 2 by KatersAcresMake sure that your wings are flat on your work surface.
  • Use an X-acto knife or your clay blade and cut the wings on the indented portion.
  • Repeat so you have 4 wings total. This is so you have two pair with both front & back.
  • Bend a piece of wire with two loops on either end.
  • Place the loop in the middle of the wing with about 1/4″ of wire sticking out toward the middle.
  • Place a second wing on top of the first.
  • Use your fingers to blend the seams and reshape as needed.
  • Take your wings and use the piece of wire to press the wings into the body of your figurine.

Have Fun & Enjoy!
