2015 Polymer Clay Challenge
Week 14 Dragon: Lanying
My 2015 polymer clay challenge was to create one dragon & one new Parker a week. You can read my personal challenge here. Each participant is encouraged to challenge themselves to something they want to do. Let’s see what this week brought me…
Don’t forget to add the tag #2015PCChallenge to all your social media & blog posts.
Lanying is a dragon inspired by the famous Chinese Dragons of folklore. Lanying is a chinese word meaning “indigo lusterousness.” She is jointed in her arms, allowing them to swish back and forth. Her legs are double jointed in both the hip & knee areas. She can be found roaming all throughout the Magical Creature Containment Zone sharing a wild tails of her escapades. Parker & Lanying love to spy on Masquerade, but she always see’s them coming.
Components Used: Hand-blended Custom Color Premo! Polymer Clay, Black Glass eBeads, Mica Powders, Blending Chalks, Acrylic Paint, Waxed Cotton Cording, Swarovski Hot Fix Crystal
As you can easily see based on the past several weeks, there have not been many Parker’s made recently. That is sad, but true. I’ve been so busy writing tutorials, I haven’t had a chance to make Parker’s. I hope to make more of them this Spring however. Stay tuned.
