Premium Sculpting Club Tip: Repurposing Something Unexpected

Our sixteenth tip is about repurposing something unexpected. We’ve often heard of repurposing something that we can use as an armature, but what about paper somethings? I love stamps, especially old, antique, canceled stamps. I don’t mean ones that have value, but rather ones that don’t and are found by the hundreds, exactly for that reason. Using these with clay, especially in your mixed media art is a fantastic way to bring added dimension, texture, and a uniquely old element to your piece.
