This mica powder has been double milled and is ultra-soft and fine. Because this mica powder is much lighter than other conventional store-bought brands, it is best applied with a small brush and rubbed in with a blender or finger. This mica powder does contain pigment and is buildable for a darker color if wanted/needed. We recommend using this with Marjorie’s Magnificent Blending Brush.

This was such a fun mica to use. I work a lot with doll type colors and the skin mica gave this really cute sparkle when mixed in with my skin tones. I did try it as more of a blushing, and at first it seemed a lot more silver if not mixed in just sitting on the flesh tone, but I also used my regular blush over the top which gave a really unique look to one of my fae. Katie always has some of the best mica mixes!

Please note: I use Cosclay mainly and the mica may not react the same to Sculpey original.
