I would love to hear how PC artists get the inspiration. I want to be able to develop my own techniques and ideas, but usually end up following a tutorial step by step, and I don’t seem to have any originality.

So grateful for the giveaway. This is the type of items that I am interested in for clay. And the faces. Yours are adorable.
Thank you

I am pretty new to polymer clay and pretty much a quick learner but always have issues with faces. But, I will keep on until I get it right! Thank you for sharing all you do for us, polymer clay and art. My favorite type of jewelry to make is Dragon Eyes pendants.

For me, ideas about armatures and supports are really important. I hate when my projects end up dense, they don’t seem to bake through, are really heavy, and I’m stingy with clay! I’d love to learn about the different techniques used.

As a beginner there are so many things each time I use clay that I am unsure of, I wouldn’t know what was the burning question, but I have considered the cold water quenching, why do it/does it work/ do any good?
The book does look stunning & expect it is a brilliant read & a go to book in the future.

What do you think are main stumbling blocks for beginners to master in order to take their skills to a professional level? Is it certain techniques?

Came across this book at my local library. Such a unique how-to book, loved it. Some hard to find materials but just one of the best instructional books I’ve ever seen!
