Week 10: Feather Cane

This week we conquered 2 canes: the feather cane & leaf cane. Again this week, I chose to do just one as I make leaf canes at least once a week. You can get my tutorial for a leaf cane here. The original feather cane tutorial appears on polymer clay central and was written by Donna Kato.

Here’s a few snapshot of my feather cane in process. I chose to variegate my cane as opposed to make it in an ombre style. I rather like the effect as well.  It really thought that this cane would be a challenge to make as I looked at it, but honestly, it was quite easy.  If you haven’t tried this cane yet, be sure to do so.
