Nothing beats a tried and true classic, a terra cotta pot. But sometimes, you just want your terra cotta pots to have a little bit of personality. That’s where the Sprouting Schrume© Planter Pots come in.
Each Sprouting Schrume© Planter Pot has been lovingly handcrafted just for you. We begin by taking an ordinary terra cotta pot and prepping it for acrylic paint. We then paint the top rim of the pot. After this step we hand create the color of our clays to match each individual difference in the the color of the pot. We do this to help ensure that your pot will look as close to perfect every time. We then begin to add on facial characteristics and details to our pots, including glass eyes. Once that is done we bake the clay twice to ensure toughness for even your biggest of plants you’ll put in these Sprouting Schrume© Planters! [Please know if you drop this pot both the pot and the face will still break; it is not indestructible.] Then we finish our planters with painted details, mixed media accents, and a coat of varnish on the lips for that “just been kissed” look.

Each Sprouting Schrume© Planter comes with a handmade Classic Heart Plant Pokey as well. The heart plant pokey is handmade from polymer clay. It is meant to be placed inside the Sprouting Schrume© plant, inside your home. You can write the name of your plant on your heart tag with a Sharpie permanent marker. When you want to reuse it or stick it in a different pot later, simply use acetone fingernail polish remover on a cotton swab to take off the marker and reuse your heart.
Who are The ‘Schrumes©?
Parker© lives in KatersAcres, a land inhabited by all sorts of strange and unique animals, critters, and beings including dragons and The ‘Schrumes. The ‘Schrumes© are small troll like creatures that are found living in deep and dark places of the forest floor. They only come out at night, but are a joy to all who see them!
The ‘Schrumes© are a handmade polymer clay sculpted collectible character family. We have created each of these by hand. Every one is one-of-a-kind (OOAK), hand sculpted, and uniquely made. We do not use molds or forms. Therefore, you can be assured that the one you receive will be unique. Each ‘Schrume© is approximately two-and-a-quarter inches tall (each varies slightly). Every item is made to a different size, shape, and contains slightly different details and subtle facial expressions. As with all of our items, the artist’s signature appears on the bottom of the piece.
