Last week, Parker had the opportunity to go to the fair. He had a great time! Today’s color palette is inspired by Parker’s trip to the county fair. While my husband and I both wore our cowboy boots, he was the only one who wore his hat. My hat doesn’t fit anymore …
Anyway … I chose this palette because for many of you, school is back in session. But for those of us who live deep in the country, we don’t start school until the close of the fair, right after Labor Day. My husband and I love to go and see all those who have worked so hard during the year to present their animals, handicraft, and other talents through 4-H exhibits. But perhaps my favorite of everything is the sheep barn. Yep … Parker likes the sheep barn too.
Here’s a quick shot of my hubby and I. We had a great time, despite the fact that the sled for the tractor pull broke … that was a bummer.
By the look of this picture, today’s color palette isn’t very inspiring … but I think that you might be surprised at the tones the color generator pulled from it (I know I was). But today’s we’re also adding a theme to your challenge. The colors & theme are shown to you above. What will you create? A miniature, scene, wall art, jewelry? Get inspired and break out of your rut. Use creativity and come up with something new, unique, and completely you!
I hope today’s palette & color selections help you get back into your studio this weekend! Thanks for joining me today and don’t forget to sign up for more tutorials, prompts, and projects direct to your email. Sign up now.
