2022 is bring a lot of new, fun, exciting, and wonderful things to Kater’s Acres. It also means that there are a lot of changes too. One of those changes is the Polymer Clay Challenge that I have headed up for the Polymer Clay Community for over 6 years now. As of this year, I am no longer heading up the challenge. I have handed off the Challenge to the talented, friendly, and inspired clay artist Michele Hinchey.
The 2022 Polymer Clay Challenge has already begun, over on Facebook and I would encourage anyone who would like to grow in their polymer clay hobby, art, design, skills or just learn the craft to come and join us.
I am so proud of everyone who participated last year and was able to do this challenge despite the pressures of life, the pandemic, the “claydemic” and all the curveballs that life throws at you. I hope and pray that even more will return this year and try again.
I encourage EACH of those that participate every year, do not beat yourself up if you can not complete the entire year. Start small, go slow. One finished project a month is better than none. Remember the goal of this project is that you continue to grow and that by the end of the year you find yourself being more creative, working harder toward your goals, and most importantly seeing your work get better and better with each passing year.
Are you going to participate this year? Feel free to go to Facebook, join the group, grab the badge above and place it on your website, Facebook page, or other social media and share with the world that you too are participating in the 2022 Polymer Clay Challenge.
