It’s Friesen Friday once again (insert wild applause, cheers, laughter, and dance moves here) …. I hope that you have been having a good time making birds over the past two months. I know that I have! Today’s project is not from the “Birds of a Feather” Book, but examples of it can be found in the birds book with fancy birds, plain birds, and exciting birds of each of every page! As a general rule of thumb, most craft shows have their own type of promotion. However, this does not negate the fact that your customers need to know that you are doing a show. There are several simple ways that you can help advertise the craft show that you will be participating in. Your show can only be a success if you take partial responsibility for craft show promotion.

Creative Road Blocks
As I write this post, my to do list has seemingly over 1 million things on it to get done. Jeepers. I really don’t like that feeling. In fact, often it is so much of a barrier for me that become a severe road block to my creativity. Are you the same way? When you have a million things to do, where do you begin to get inspiration? For me, I simply pick some colors that look nice together and see where that palette will take me. Why I’m “dry” finding a striking color palette is the beginning of that “ah ha” moment for me in my studio. Since this color palette was such an inspiration to me this week, I’m hoping that it will be a springboard to your own creativity.
