Faux Wax Seals, Polymer Clay Tutorial

Have you ever been completely fascinated by something? When I was younger I used to write letters all the time and seal them with wax seals, because I thought they were neat. They always reminded me of some Royal Kingdom far, far away. To this day, they still do. I picture ladies in a billowy dressing writing letters and sealing them with their family crests; Lords & Kings making mighty decrees for a whole nation of people on large scrolls, sealed with a symbol of their power in dark red wax. To this day, I still think of that.

I have blogged about the Stroppel Cane many times, Alice has even joined us here on the blog to say “hi” & give us more information about her awesome cane (see the comments on her post). I have been making so many canes lately for flower necklaces and things that I have made some of the most beautiful Stroppel canes ever from those canes ends. (Okay, perhaps not ever … but the best ones I’ve ever made for sure.)
