in My Polymer Clay Studio
The Week in Review
Unlike the past several weeks where I’ve done nothing but sculpt, this week I’ve been making oodles of Skinner Blends, rainbow blends, color recipes, research for upcoming projects and canes. It’s the “caning” time of year for me. I love canes & making flower petal canes is so much fun for me. Not only do I get to use the cane to sculpt, but I get to make myself a pretty new necklace too. I make a pendant from every cane as a little “memento” of my work. There’s always a lot going on in my studio.
WIP Wednesday in My Polymer Clay Studio
Posted on — Leave a commentAnother week has come & gone. This past week I was wrapped up with the B’Sue Boutiques gang at her Second Annual Workshop. Here’s a bunch of stuff from my studio over the past 2 weeks. I’d love to see what you’re working on too. Feel free to share with me what you’re working on in the comments below. Post a link to your WIP post or a photo.
WIP Wednesday: Parker Heaven
Posted on — Leave a commentI’ve been SO busy in my studio lately that my posts here on the blog are falling a bit behind. How can you tell? Well, my WIP Wednesday post is going up today (Thursday) with yesterday’s post date. OOPS! That being said, my studio has been abuzz with Parker this week. My last Parker was adopted last week. I usually make about 2-4 dozen Parker’s at a time, so it was time for another run. This week however I’m back to tutorial creating, writing, & photographing.
WIP Wednesday: A Much Needed Break

It’s been a long few weeks here at KatersAcres … but good weeks! I spent the last week on vacation with my hubby visiting family, so most of these photos are actually from the week prior. It’s hard to clay on vacation, even though I really wanted to.

WIP Wednesday: Tutorials Galore!
Posted on — Leave a commentWIP Wednesday: Tutorials Galore!
As I looked back over the last several weeks, I realized that between Parker’s Clayful Tutorial Club, the blog, & Polyform, that I wrote 6 tutorials in the last 5 weeks. That’s more than one tutorial a week. It’s no wonder that I’m so exhausted!
WIP Wednesday: Catching Up, Still
Posted on — 2 CommentsCatching Up!
Since I was away for several weeks due to hospitalization, I’ve been working hard to get caught up. It’s been quite the challenge this time around too. I’m behind on orders & tutorials. There’s a lot to be done. But, my “to-do list” is helping keep me on track.

WIP Wednesday – Catching Up
Posted on — Leave a commentThis past week I have spent hospitalized. But fortunately, the week before that happened I had oodles of work to do and lots of orders as well. So here’s a brief synopsis on what I’ve been doing…
WIP Wednesday: New Tutorial Fun
Posted on — Leave a commentI have been so busy creating content, photographing, & writing tutorials that I needed some play time this week. While the 2015 Polymer Clay Challenge does keep me busy & creating, it isn’t as freeing as trying something new. Yesterday I addressed in brevity the concept of burn out. You can read the article here. Because of my new studio assistant, rather than having long work day, I have very short working spurts. Regardless, let’s see what I’ve been working on this week.

WIP Wednesday: Color & Fun

Like other week’s, there’s been a lot going on in my studio. I’m going away for about 10 days with my Mom, so next week the blog will be a little slow. Because of that I’ve been diligently preparing the upcoming tutorials that will be released at the beginning and ends of February. That being said, here’s a glimpse of what I’ve been doing…
WIP Wednesday: A Week of Natasha Fun
Posted on — Leave a commentIn case you’re new here, WIP Wednesday is a weekly post featuring what I’ve been working on in my studio. Hence, WIP (Work in progress) The only time I do not run a WIP Wednesday post is when my blog is closed for vacation (which is just a few times a year). On WIP Wednesday’s you are free to leave a link to whatever it is you are working on in the comments section or shout-outs to YOUR favorite clay happenings.
WIP Wednesday
Posted on — 1 CommentA Quieter Week
This past week was a wonderful week. We got about 18″ of snow in 2 days, we were snowed in, & due to the snow & temperatures, we spent four full days housebound. It. Was. Great! When my husband is home, I like to spend time with him and don’t get near the amount of time in my studio that I normally do. That being said it was still a busy week!
WIP Wednesday – Happy New Year!
