Since I was away for several weeks due to hospitalization, I’ve been working hard to get caught up. It’s been quite the challenge this time around too. I’m behind on orders & tutorials. There’s a lot to be done. But, my “to-do list” is helping keep me on track.

My newest project for Polyform is part of their “Mom & Me” series. This series of projects includes smaller projects that children can do with the help of a parent.
This past week I have spent hospitalized. But fortunately, the week before that happened I had oodles of work to do and lots of orders as well. So here’s a brief synopsis on what I’ve been doing…
This project was inspired by the work of the wonderfully talented Dr. Ron Lehocky. This past week Ron showcased some of his new hearts. And to say that there were inspiring is an understatement. I’ve always enjoyed Ron’s hearts, but the simplicity and theme of this batch really got to me. Great work Ron!

I have been so busy creating content, photographing, & writing tutorials that I needed some play time this week. While the 2015 Polymer Clay Challenge does keep me busy & creating, it isn’t as freeing as trying something new. Yesterday I addressed in brevity the concept of burn out. You can read the article here. Because of my new studio assistant, rather than having long work day, I have very short working spurts. Regardless, let’s see what I’ve been working on this week.
